Karette Stensæth presented a paper with the title A life with ”smart things”: Is it a more human, healthy and/or social life? at the The Second International Health Humanities Conference – Music, Health, and Humanity. According to music therapist Kenneth Bruscia: ”Health is to become one´s fullest potential as a human being”. The paper discusses philosophical perspectives connected to health in relation to music and the use of smart things. The conference took place in New York August 9-11 2012.
